Abstract For tool grinding, an optimization potential in terms of productivity is available using graded grinding wheels. This especially the case when flutes cemented carbide. Due to properties carbide, high radial wear occurs. Depending on geometry flute, varies along engagement width tool. The varying can be compensated by load adapting its width. adaptation behaviour non-uniform conditions results occurring under uniform conditions. Indeed, this dressing these tools.
